First Post...

What else would a first post be?

Introductions.

Yes, the obligatory intro page. Slightly annoying, but necessary.

First things first, I am Ally, or Equestrian205 f you so prefer. I am 14 years old and have been collecting Breyers since 2007, when I got a Target Chestnut Overo Rearing Stallion (now a mare in my collection, but I digress). Collecting of Traditionals began with the Nokota horse, conveniently picked up at the tack shop when getting boots for my first riding lesson- go figure).

I collect Classics and Traditionals, with current focus on some 90's Classics (another topic for another post).

Basically, I was inspired to create this blog after discovering Breyer History Diva's blog. Definitely my inspiration- it is a fantastic blog.

My posts will be on chronicling my collection and commentary on new (and old!) Breyers, with some real-life horses thrown in. I also will occasionally feature my pride and joy, a 9-month old sable Sheltie named Cody, my first dog.

Since I have a rdculously long list of post ideas, they should be coming pretty steadily. Here is my list of planned topics, but you never know when a random one will pop up...
1. The history of my current collection, which will take a few posts
2. A whole slew of commentaries...
